| The Government Technical Institute Ordinary Diploma in Commerce (ODC). |
| The Government Technical Institute Ordinary Certificate in Business Studies. |
| One year certificate in Industrial Relations and Management (IDCE). |
| Trained Teacher's Certificate, Grade I, Class I. |
| Mature age (21 years and over) together with a pass at the University of Guyana Entrance Examination (UGEE). |
| A Diploma from the University of Guyana or other recognized post-secondary institution. |
| A Degree or its equivalent in another Department/Faculty or its equivalent from a recognized post-secondary institution. |
| Admit base on Advance Standing Regulation approved by the Academic Board. |
